UNCF Stem Scholarship in 2024, since the existence of UNCF Stem Scholarship program, they have assisted numerous numbers of student both Local and International of over 500,000 college students in obtaining their degrees.
UNCF is an America’s largest private provider of scholarships to members of minority groups. Their scholarship award is over $100 million in scholarship money each year to students at more than 1,100 colleges and universities across the nation, including our prestigious 37 HBCs.
The UNCF Foundation has awarded numbers of scholarship programs including the Fund II Foundation UNCF STEM Scholars Program; UNCF/Koch Scholars Program; K-12 Educational Fellowship, and the Frederick Douglass 200th Anniversary Scholarship Program.
Each of these programs, as well as dozens other internships, faculty development opportunities, and fellowships, comes with its own eligibility requirements, application requirements, and deadlines.
Academic support for African American high school students who want to major in STEM and seek jobs in STEM disciplines is provided by the UNCF STEM Scholars Program. Eligible students are African American seniors in high school who have been accepted into and intend to enroll in undergraduate STEM programs. 3.0 or above in GPA is necessary.
Basic Requirements to Apply for the UNCF STEM Scholarship are:

Award Amount: The student’s financial need determines the grant amount. honors for first and second years could total up to $2,500, while honors for upperclassmen could total up to $5,000. Through this program, a student may be able to earn assistance of up to $25,000. This scholarship will award a total of $25,000.
Eligibility Criteria to Apply for uncf stem scholarship In 2024
To qualify to apply all applicants must meet the following requirement:
1. Applicant must be an African or American
2. Applicant must be a citizen, legal permanent resident, or national of the United States
3. Applicant must have a CGPA of 3.0 on an unweighted 4.0 scale
4. pursued a demanding high school curriculum that included pre-calculus and math and science classes.
5. have shown, as determined by the student’s college or university, financial need and unfulfilled need
6. Provide proof that you are prepared for and dedicated to pursuing STEM fields, such as the biological and life sciences, physics, chemistry, information sciences, computer science and engineering, industrial, mechanical, electrical, or chemical engineering, and mathematics.
7. Applicant must finish all of the application essays.
8. Make arrangements for a recommendation letter to be sent through the UNCF application portal.
9. Be enrolled for the first time as a full-time, first-year student seeking a degree at a U.S.-based, accredited college or university in the autumn (except from those earning a high school diploma concurrently while taking college-level courses).
10. Applicant must complete and submit the application with the necessary document before the deadline.
